I am a relatively new father of a one-year-old boy named Ben.
This little munchkin has grown up so fast right before my eyes since December 25, 2013. Ben has been a joy, challenge, gift, struggle, blessing, and an angel all at the same time.
I get overwhelmed when I realize that I have to start a couple of days a week with him all by myself. Then again, when I see his smiling face in the morning and I have a bottle or a sippy cup of milk ready for him, all is right in the world.
That's me and Ben up above. Does that look like the face of a daddy? Sometimes I wonder that. Sometimes I have to go back and remember that I was once a kid. I see some of myself in Ben where he does some of the same things I used to do as a child.
I have to remember to have patience, love, and a sense of humor to deal with the challenges of raising this little baby. Someone taught me very well about those three things along the way.
Happy reading as I will continue to post more and more as we get older.
